About the Role
We seek a passionate, data-driven City Launcher eager to jump into an entrepreneurial, hands-on GTM role and own the growth of an entire market from 0 to 1. This person is a creative GTM expert who can chase down a target list on the ground, activating local engagement strategies and tactics tailored to each market they enter.
As City Launcher, you will operate as the growth catalyst for your markets, utilizing cross-functional resources to create opportunities with target event organizers and work with POSH’s central sales team to turn those opportunities into net new organizers on POSH.
You will be the first hire in this function, so your success in this role will also build a repeatable market playbook to drive business expansion to a global scale. We see this person launching 2-3 markets, then becoming a GM who manages other launchers that run the playbook as we continue to expand.
Please Note: This role requires significant travel, living in a market for 3-4 months (room and board 100% covered) to take it from 0 to 1 with the support of POSH's central HQ resources before moving on to the next market.
Responsibilities
Engage with event industry stakeholders across each city using a combination of community events, outside sales, and calls — working from and adding to a target bounty list.
Be the face of POSH in the market, attending industry events and driving new qualified high-value organizer leads for the POSH sales team.
Test and operationalize new GTM strategies, develop SOPs, and work with leadership to properly resource and implement successful tests.
Collaborate with the POSH community and marketing teams to host events and coordinate content production that increases local brand awareness and drives new organizer supply.
Expand your local reach through a team of in-market brand ambassadors to maximize your geographic footprint.
Own your market data to define and monitor key success metrics, optimize the core business objectives, and report progress, challenges, and opportunities to internal stakeholders.

Skills and Experience You’ll Need
Has 5+ years of experience in launch, GTM, and/or strategy and operations positions at consumer/SMB marketplaces or similar growth-stage startups.
Is an entrepreneur at heart, craving the responsibility necessary to shape the vision and direction of the company within their market.
Loves connecting with people. You'll spend all your time talking to new prospects to get them excited about what POSH can do for them and their community.
Has a strategic mindset, weighing short and long-term benefits against each other and making independent decisions accordingly.
Has an uncanny ability to influence and motivate customers and fellow team members.
Has strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and generate actionable insights for cross-functional teams
Pays extreme attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in tracking, reporting, and analyses
Has a strong bias for action and is extremely excited to jump into a hands-on role with a lot of ownership.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting information clearly and concisely to key company stakeholders.
Compensation
Salary $120,000-$150,000 OTE + quarterly bonuses based on GMV targets
