Why? 

Everyone spends money, but only a few people actually know how they spend money. We believe this is wrong.

Our vision is a world where everyone has financial consciousness. 

The problem with personal finance apps today is they’re not so personal and they're not so easy to use. Most young people avoid them.

Oops is reinventing how personal finance feels. We are not building a budgeting app. Instead, we are creating a space for everyone to build awareness about their spending habits and decide which to keep, improve or change with Oops.

Where are we, and where are we going?

We are a team of 5 working from our office in New York City. 

We have a product in the wild and strong retention.

We just closed our Seed round from a group of prominent investors.

We spend most of our awake time reimagining how the young generation will do personal finance.

Qualifications / Fit

• You have 3+ years of iOS engineering experience (Swift, UIkit)

• You can iterate quickly and understand the balance between achieving pixel perfection and development speed

• You can reduce complex problems down to the right combination of simplicity and functionality 

• You are a self-starter who actively seeks ways to improve the product experience for our users

• You have experience building consumer iOS apps

• You are ready to grind (this is an early-stage startup, not a 9-5)

• You are based in New York City or willing to relocate
