About Post Office Studios

Post Office Studios is the immersive content division of Kulfi Collective, focused on producing immersive content & virtual experiences for brands and platforms at scale. We are a diverse team of designers, animators, producers and creative technologists that test the limits of creativity to reimagine how stories are told. 

Our projects range from the creation of digital content in motion design and animation for the web, to building virtual experiences through emerging media technologies such as AR and virtual production for the metaverse.

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Creative Director - 2D who will oversee project timelines, budgets, and client communication, while ensuring our creative output meets briefs and quality standards. They will also train the team, approve references and treatment decks, and understand brand expectations to provide creative feedback accordingly.

A day in the life of an Associate Creative Director - 2D

• Excellent graphic design principles and visualisation skills to direct and create illustrations, typography, color theory, layout, and compositions.

• Should possess a strong eye for detail and have knowledge of current trends in illustration, animation and relevant technologies.

• Experience in sourcing right references and creating top notch treatment decks and ensuring they follow in accordance with brand guidelines.

• Excellent in pitching creative ideas, developing visual concepts, style frames as per the requirement and implementation of new design processes.

• Excellent team leadership skills and problem solving abilities, give creative feedback, contribute to the team and maintain synergy.

• Ability to manage multiple projects from concept to delivery and excellent communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate with Creative Producers, Creative Directors and Artists at the studio to meet production needs, manage timelines, schedules and approved budgets.

• Identify and recommend freelance artists who can work for Post Office on projects.

• Understand brand expectations and ensure internal and external teams are executing projects and deliverables as per timelines set and creative expectations are met while maintaining PO standards.

• Understanding of various design softwares, responsible for research and plugins for better output and efficiency.

• Visualise assets for Post Office's website, behance and social media handles, visualize and develop assets to elevate the overall brand identity.

• Approve and manage leave for artists and ensure no overlaps.

• Ability to conduct workshops and external training sessions.

• Experience of working on Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendars)

Qualities and skill sets we would like for you to showcase

• 4-5 years of 2D experience in a design/animation studio

• Excellent Team Leadership Skills

• Excellent Communication(internal and external) and Presentation Skills 

• Strong experience of working on Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendars)

• Good experience and understanding of Illustrator and Photoshop with problem solving abilities, responsible for research on softwares and plugins for better output 

• Strong portfolio in After Effects and Animation, understanding of the Software, ability to solve problems and responsible for research on software and plugins for better output

• Good experience and understanding of Adobe Premiere and Cinema 4D with problem solving abilities, responsible for research on softwares and plugins for better output 

• Familiarity with RedShift, Octane and the ability to identify problems

• Excellent Design Aesthetics

• Excellent understanding of Compositing and problem solving

• Keen eye for timing, detailed understanding of keyframes and animation with excellent knowledge of animation principles
