About Post Office Studios

Post Office Studios is the immersive content division of Kulfi Collective, focused on producing immersive content & virtual experiences for brands and platforms at scale. We are a diverse team of designers, animators, producers and creative technologists that test the limits of creativity to reimagine how stories are told. 

Our projects range from the creation of digital content in motion design and animation for the web, to building virtual experiences through emerging media technologies such as AR and virtual production for the metaverse.

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Creative Director - 3D who will oversee project timelines, budgets, and client communication, while ensuring our creative output meets briefs and quality standards. They will also train the team, approve references and treatment decks, and understand brand expectations to provide creative feedback accordingly.

A day in the life of an Associate Creative Director - 3D

• Excellent in design principles and visualization skills to direct and create stylized CG graphics, motion design and stunning compositions. Passion to create innovative design and moving image from concept to final production.

• Should possess artistic abilities across multiple CGI disciplines including modeling, texturing, lighting, shading/look development, animation and compositing.

• Should possess a strong eye for detail, high level of thinking, innovative design approach , a deep understanding and awareness of current trends as well as a passion for emerging technology.

• Experience in sourcing right references, researching and creating top notch treatment decks and ensuring they follow in accordance with brand guidelines.

• Excellent in pitching creative ideas, developing visual concepts, style frames as per the requirement and implementation of new design processes.

• Excellent team leadership skills and problem solving abilities, give creative feedback, contribute to the team and maintain synergy.

• Ability to manage multiple projects from concept to delivery and excellent communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate with Creative Producers, Creative Directors and Artists at the studio to meet production needs, manage timelines, schedules and approved budgets.

• Identify and recommend freelance artists who can collaborate with Post Office.

• Understand brand expectations and ensure internal and external teams are executing projects and deliverables as per timelines set and creative expectations are met while maintaining PO standards.

• Understanding of various design & animation softwares, responsible for research and plugins for better output and efficiency.

• Visualise assets for Post Office's website, behance and social media handles, visualize and develop assets to elevate the overall brand identity.

• Approve and manage leave for artists and ensure no overlaps.

• Ability to conduct workshops and external training sessions.

• Experience of working on Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendars)

Qualities and skill sets we would like for you to showcase

• 4-7years of experience in 3D animation/motion graphics

• Fluent in Cinema 4D and related mo-graph plugins

• Fluent in Octane, Redshift or similar render engines

• Fluent in After Effects and Photoshop for compositing

• Knowledge of substance painter and designer

• Knowledge of Unreal Engine or Unity

• Comparable software experience also considered
