Key Objectives

  • Accurately enter and process customer orders into the system.

  • Maintain clear communication with sales, inventory, and shipping teams.

  • Ensure data integrity and resolve discrepancies promptly.

  • Support the overall order fulfillment process to enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Input customer orders into the order management system with precision and speed.

  • Verify order details including product codes, quantities, pricing, and delivery instructions.

  • Collaborate with sales representatives and customer service to clarify order information.

  • Monitor order status and update records to reflect changes or cancellations.

  • Identify and escalate any order discrepancies or issues to the appropriate department.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and order logs for auditing and reporting purposes.

  • Assist in generating regular reports on order entry metrics and performance.

  • Adhere to company policies and maintain confidentiality of customer information.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.

  • Proven experience in order entry, data entry, or a similar administrative role.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and order management software.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.

  • Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in software or technology industry order processing.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and ERP software.

  • Basic understanding of inventory and supply chain processes.
