Key Objectives
Accurately enter and process customer orders into the system.
Maintain clear communication with sales, inventory, and shipping teams.
Ensure data integrity and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Support the overall order fulfillment process to enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Input customer orders into the order management system with precision and speed.
Verify order details including product codes, quantities, pricing, and delivery instructions.
Collaborate with sales representatives and customer service to clarify order information.
Monitor order status and update records to reflect changes or cancellations.
Identify and escalate any order discrepancies or issues to the appropriate department.
Maintain accurate documentation and order logs for auditing and reporting purposes.
Assist in generating regular reports on order entry metrics and performance.
Adhere to company policies and maintain confidentiality of customer information.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
Proven experience in order entry, data entry, or a similar administrative role.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and order management software.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in software or technology industry order processing.
