Senior FP&A

Future Family is an SF based fintech and digital health platform designed to help millions of consumers start and build their families. Today the company makes it easy to access and afford fertility care by offering monthly membership plans to replace the high upfront cost of IVF and egg freezing. Plans start as low as $250/month and include all medical services, in addition to premium member-services like fertility coaching and exclusive discounts. With Future Family, fertility providers can offer these easy monthly plans to help more of their patients move forward with care.

The Role:

As a Sr. FP&A your primary focus is on driving the company’s financial model via scalability and predictability. This role requires the ability to understand the big picture of the company’s business and long-term performance in order to help achieve a high growth and profitable future. You will be responsible for owning data and providing insight and forecasting, as well building reporting, dashboards and performing ad hoc analyses to assist both key internal and external stakeholders.

Note that the role is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere in the U.S., with occasional travel to San Francisco for significant meetings or corporate events.

Responsibilities

  • Report to the CFO and lead the monthly forecasting process; highlighting trends, opportunities and risk while continuously identifying areas to help improve and streamline the financial planning process.

  • Partnering with the Accounting team on the monthly close process including comparison of actual results to forecast and identify any directional changes that may be necessary

  • Support planning and budgeting by owning expense reporting and variance analysis

  • Develop scalable financial models to support rolling forecasting processes and help drive critical financial decisions.

  • Implement both long term strategies and immediate action plans that can drive growth and other financial goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math or related discipline

  • 3+ years experience in FP&A or 3+ Experience at a Big 4 Accounting Firm in accounting/advisory

  • Strong knowledge of financial statements

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (including Pivot Tables, dynamic dashboards, array functions, Power Pivots, VBA, etc.) Proficiency in SQL is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously, and drive projects to completion
