We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to join our remote sales team and help convert qualified prospects into long-term clients.
Position Summary
As a Business Development Executive, you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients who have expressed interest in AlphaHire’s recruiting services.
This is not a cold-calling role. You will primarily work with warm inbound leads, referral opportunities, and scheduled appointments.
Your responsibilities include qualifying prospective clients, conducting discovery and kickoff calls, explaining our recruiting process, preparing proposals, and guiding clients through the onboarding process before transitioning them to our Account Management team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Engagement
Follow up with warm inbound leads promptly.
Conduct discovery and qualification calls with prospective clients.
Understand hiring challenges and recruiting needs.
Present AlphaHire’s recruiting services and value proposition.
Answer client questions regarding our recruiting process.
Build strong relationships with prospective clients.
Client Onboarding
Lead kickoff meetings with new clients.
Gather detailed hiring requirements.
Collect job descriptions and key hiring information.
Coordinate signed agreements and onboarding documentation.
Ensure a smooth transition to the Account Manager.
Sales Administration
Maintain accurate CRM records.
Track lead status and follow-up activities.
Schedule meetings and client calls.
Prepare proposals and recruiting agreements.
Maintain an organized sales pipeline.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with the Managing Partner and Account Managers.
Communicate client priorities and expectations.
Assist with improving sales processes and client experience.
Required Qualifications
2+ years of B2B sales, business development, or client relationship experience.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Experience conducting meetings via Zoom or Google Meet.
Comfortable speaking with U.S.-based business owners and executives.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Reliable high-speed internet connection and professional home office.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:
Recruiting or staffing agency sales
Recruitment consulting
Human resources services
B2B professional services
Construction or industrial markets
CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar
