What is Whop?

Whop is a marketplace for anyone looking to discover and buy the latest and greatest software and digital products on the internet. Our platform allows buyers to safely purchase a variety of high quality digital products that help them make money, learn new things, or save time. Businesses use Whop to collect payments and distribute their products (https://dash.whop.com).

To date, we have processed over 50 million dollars and have had almost a million consumer signups.

The Role:

Build out Whop’s marketing function and refine our go-to-market infrastructure. Work in a small, energetic team to build a repeatable process for attracting a range of audiences to Whop — from students and content creators, to traders and software developers. Drive GMV and revenue across similar categories to our current customers and tackling untapped verticals.

What a typical week might look like:

  1. Work in partnership with the Chief Growth Officer to identify key audiences, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.

  2. Set goals, track the marketing process for each marketing channel, and identify / unblock bottlenecks.

  3. Report on the progress of marketing against company growth targets.

  4. Recruit and hire additional product marketers.
