Vernon's Speakeasy Mixologist/Server
Vernon's Speakeasy is looking for a well-qualified bartender/mixologist to work full or part time during our evening hours of operation. A well-qualified mixologist will possess at the minimum:
Adequate knowledge of fine dining service
Adequate knowledge of fine wines
Broad knowledge of cocktails, including craft cocktails
Extensive knowledge of scotch, bourbon, whiskey, tequila, rum and vodka
Knowledge of food preparation including meat temperatures
Ability to communicate well with staff
Ability to multi-task with a subtle sense of urgency
A team-first mentality
A pleasant professional presence
Three years of restaurant experience or two years of fine dining experience
We are looking for a reliable bartender/mixologist who possesses the ability to learn menu items quickly, is outgoing, works well within the team, strives to become better, able to prep ingredients before and during shifts, and willing to help others without being asked to. As a bartender at Vernon's Speakeasy, you will also be required to serve tables in a fine dining professional setting as well as bar top dining service. An extensive knowledge of our food menu is imperative.

Our current hours of operation are Wednesday - Sunday and may expand during special events or holiday season. Your typical hours of work would be 3:30-11:30 but may be longer depending on reservations.
Interviews will be conducted starting June 23rd through July 2nd.
We are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. We will not be interviewing on these days.
