Position Overview

Vend is on the hunt for a seasoned and dynamic Senior Facility Manager to lead our team! If you’re passionate about delivering first-class service, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a knack for strategic oversight, this is the role for you. You'll be at the forefront of our operations, taking full ownership of managing our assigned locations, ensuring seamless and efficient parking operations, and building and maintaining strong client relationships. We’re looking for a proactive leader who can elevate our professional image, drive operational excellence, and push our business forward! This position is based in Bethesda, Maryland.

Responsibilities:

Drive Client and Customer Satisfaction: Lead efforts to enhance client and customer experiences by leveraging technology, data, and creative problem-solving. Foster a culture of excellence and proactive service across the team.

Financial and Operational Leadership: Establish and drive property-level financial and operational goals. Use data insights to optimize performance, manage the budget, and make recommendations to meet or exceed targets, especially when challenges arise.

Oversee Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee daily activities at assigned locations, ensuring efficient operations and seamless customer experiences. Manage frontline staff, handle customer interactions, process bank deposits, schedule shifts, and prepare month-end reports.

Revenue and Budget Management: Ensure adherence to parking, security, and cash control procedures. Conduct audits, oversee bank deposits, monitor cashier reports, and handle all accounting duties, including accounts payable, payroll, and petty cash. Manage procurement and vendor services.

Lead and Develop Talent: Oversee hiring, training, and development of attendants, cashiers, bookkeepers, and maintenance personnel. Audit cashier shift reports, monitor time cards, and manage damage claims to ensure high performance and compliance.

Ensure Facility Upkeep and Efficiency: Manage maintenance and repair of parking equipment and handle general upkeep tasks. Be ready to tackle any issues, from equipment malfunctions to unexpected challenges, to keep operations running smoothly.

Client Retention and Satisfaction: Maintain proactive communication with clients to enhance operations and resolve issues diplomatically, always aiming to exceed expectations and retain business.

Marketing and Revenue Optimization: Develop strategies to maximize revenues, including parking rate studies, local and online marketing plans, and prepaid parking services.

Safety and Risk Management: Review damage claims and implement programs to improve safety and prevent incidents. Ensure compliance with OSHA laws and company policies.

Hands-On Problem Solving: Be prepared to address any operational challenges, from cleaning spills to managing tech issues, ensuring a safe and efficient facility.

Know the Area Inside and Out: Understand all areas of the facility and nearby streets, landmarks, and freeways to provide guidance to customers and support operational decisions.

Adapt and Support as Needed: Stay flexible and ready to support various tasks to ensure smooth operations, working closely with the team and management.
