Front-End Web Engineer (Mid-level)

Upkid is building the future of childcare by creating a marketplace for teachers to find flexible work. We are looking for a front-end engineer to join our team.

About the role

• As a Frontend Engineer your contributions to the team will have a big impact. You will help shape the Upkid user experience as we expand to new markets.

• You can be located anywhere, as our work is 100% remote.

• You will be working with a passionate early-stage team to help change the future of childcare.

What we are looking for

• BS in CS or equivalent engineering discipline or the equivalent in practical experience

• 2+ years of work experience as a front-end developer

• Fluency in developing applications using React with a broad knowledge of the JavaScript ecosystem

• Foundational understanding of Typescript and Javascript

• Experience working with Redux and React Hooks

• Git version control and branching strategies
