Marketing Lead, US

  • Sales & Marketing
  • Full-time
  • Los Angeles, CA
  • Hybrid
  • 150K - 190K USD a year

You: You're a B2B marketing operator with 7+ years' experience, a strong commercial instinct, and the rare ability to move between strategy and execution without losing altitude. You build the plan, then you build the thing. You own outcomes, not just plans.

You think in industries and partners, not just channels. You can sit across from a senior promoter, a ticketing partner or a festival GM and translate the conversation into a joint marketing motion that moves both businesses forward. You're equally comfortable getting a sales deck right, writing a piece of LinkedIn thought leadership, or running point on activation at a major industry trade show.

You also have a B2C stretch. You don't need to have led big consumer campaigns, but you understand how the partner relationship and the consumer experience feed each other.

Us: Born out of a passion for fairness and unforgettable experiences, Tixel is changing the game. A rapidly growing ticket marketplace that's making waves and a significant positive impact in the live entertainment space. We're on a mission to become the world's most trusted live event marketplace.

The Opportunity: This is the senior marketing role on the ground in the US, Tixel's most important growth market. You'll own US marketing end to end, reporting into the Global Marketing Director and working closely with our commercial leadership in market and our global marketing leads based in Australia and the UK.

You’ll be building upon the existing strategy, and making it your own. If you want ownership, real impact, and the chance to shape a consumer brand in a high-growth market, this is the seat.

The Gig

  • Build upon and own the US marketing strategy, with clear sequencing across B2B, Partner Marketing and B2C

  • Lead B2B marketing in the US: industry awareness, market and product positioning, sales enablement, lead generation, and industry partnerships and sponsorships

  • Establish and run a defined LinkedIn cadence that builds Tixel's voice in the US, UK, and AU live events industry

  • Build a defined industry presence cadence: the rhythm of where and how Tixel shows up across the year

  • Own industry partnerships, sponsorships and activations at trade shows, including NIVA

  • Work with the commercial team to identify and execute the Partner Marketing opportunities that move the needle for growth

  • As the market lead, support the PR and Comms lead on their US initiatives, acting as the local context and connective tissue

  • Stretch into B2C as the market matures

  • Partner closely with the global Marketing, COPS, Channel Partnerships and PR/Comms teams to keep the US connected to the wider business

  • Manage the US marketing budget, tracking spend and return against KPIs

What you bring

  • 7+ years in marketing, with a strong B2B core and demonstrated B2B2C / Partner Marketing experience

  • A track record of operating at both ends: building strategy and shipping the work yourself

  • Industry background in ticketing, live events, music tech or marketplace

  • Confident sales enablement chops: working hand in glove with a commercial team, building the assets and motion that help them close

  • Strong stakeholder presence, comfortable holding your own with senior commercial counterparts, partners, and execs

  • Builder mindset: you're energised by uncluttered scope and the chance to shape something rather than inherit it fully formed

  • Excellent project management, attention to detail, and a high quality bar

  • Self-motivated, assertive, and comfortable being the most senior marketer in the room
