About Themis

Themis is a collaborative governance, risk, and compliance platform helping banks, credit unions, and fintechs streamline oversight, strengthen compliance programs, and move faster with confidence.

Our customers operate in highly regulated environments where strong governance, risk management, and compliance practices are critical. We partner closely with financial institutions and fintechs to help them build scalable, effective oversight programs, strengthen third-party oversight, and navigate an increasingly complex regulatory landscape.

At Themis, we believe great companies are built through partnership, expertise, ownership, and execution. We’re looking for team members who are excited to solve meaningful problems, build trusted relationships, and help shape the future of governance, risk, and compliance.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to own how Themis brings its products to market and tells its story to banks, credit unions, and fintechs.

In this role you’ll sit at the center of Product, Sales, and Customer Success, translating complex governance, risk, and compliance capabilities into clear positioning, messaging, and enablement that drives pipeline and adoption. You’ll own launches, build the content that helps prospects and customers understand our value, and arm the sales team with the materials they need to win.

The ideal candidate combines sharp strategic thinking with strong execution. You can interview customers, distill insights, and turn them into compelling narratives, and you are comfortable going deep on a technical, regulated product.

Working Hours & Availability

Themis is a remote-first team that primarily operates Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM ET. Availability expectations may vary depending on the role and team, but this role requires meaningful overlap with our standard operating hours for collaboration, meetings, and time-sensitive business needs.

We support flexibility where possible, but regular or extended blocks of unavailable time during standard business hours should be discussed and aligned in advance.

What You’ll Do

Positioning & Messaging

  • Own positioning, messaging, and value propositions for Themis products and key personas

  • Translate complex governance, risk, and compliance capabilities into clear, differentiated narratives

  • Develop and maintain messaging frameworks, narratives, and competitive positioning

Go-to-Market & Launches

  • Plan and execute product and feature launches across Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing

  • Define launch goals, audiences, and channels, and measure results against them

  • Coordinate cross-functional launch readiness, timelines, and deliverables

Sales Enablement

  • Build sales decks, one-pagers, battlecards, demo scripts, and objection-handling resources

  • Equip Sales and Customer Success with the messaging and tools they need across the customer lifecycle

  • Support prospect evaluations with value-oriented content and competitive intelligence

Content & Voice of the Customer

  • Produce customer-facing content such as case studies, web copy, blog posts, and campaign assets

  • Conduct customer and market research to sharpen positioning and identify new opportunities

  • Partner with Product to validate roadmap priorities and represent the voice of the market

  • Monitor the competitive and regulatory landscape and keep the team informed

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in product marketing, content marketing, or a closely related role in B2B SaaS

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex or technical products into clear positioning and messaging

  • Experience planning and executing product or feature launches

  • Strong writing skills with a portfolio of customer-facing or enablement content

  • Ability to partner effectively with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams

  • Comfort conducting customer and market research and turning insights into action

  • Strong organizational and project-management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience marketing to banks, credit unions, fintechs, or other regulated financial institutions

  • Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) or Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS)

  • Experience marketing compliance, risk, security, or other regulatory technology

  • Experience building a product marketing function at a startup or high-growth company

  • Familiarity with AI tools and modern marketing and content workflows
