About Us
At Teton, we are redefining the role of healthcare workers through cutting-edge AI technology. Facing a global nursing shortage, our solutions offer vital support to overburdened health systems. With over 800 patient rooms across 3 countries already benefiting from our technology, we are aiming to expand our reach to 2000 monitored rooms within the year. We distinguish ourselves by focusing relentlessly on product excellence and user experience, rapidly deploying solutions that make a real difference.
At this stage of our company we require a physical presence in our office in Copenhagen, Denmark. We believe this enables the fastest and most efficient iteration cycles to build an impactful product that users love to use.
The Job
We are looking for an engineer with a strong background in signal processing, machine learning, and human physiology. The ideal candidate will have solid programming skills and experience in using computer vision for remote health sensing. This role involves the development and deployment of novel remote biomedical sensing algorithms to edge devices, specifically focusing on image-processing techniques for estimating respiration rate and tracking sleep using machine learning. You will show prototypes and new features to users, collect their feedback, and continue shaping product development. Experience with sleep-related research and the ability to derive innovative health insights from unconventional physiological data is a plus.
In this role, you will focus on the following areas of interest:
Rapid prototyping and development of innovative image- and time-series-based remote sensing methodologies.
Training and implementing machine learning and deep learning models for health applications.
Design and conduct data collection studies to verify the performance of our existing algorithms and develop new ones.
Qualifications:
Strong foundation in digital signal processing, focusing on biomedical applications and a solid grasp of computer vision techniques.
Proven experience in applying machine learning and deep learning to time-series problems using Python/PyTorch.
A Master’s degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, computer science, or a related field.
Knowledge in designing and conducting data collection studies, especially testing state-of-the-art methods against gold-standard equipment.
Show evidence of exceptional ability.
