About the Role:
As a Engineering Manager at Teton, you will be responsible for leading and growing the engineering team. You will be responsible for scaling engineering efforts, recruiting top talent, and ensuring the retention and professional growth of team members. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in product quality, best practices, and technical excellence.
You will be working on:
Scaling Engineering:
Lead the expansion of the engineering team to meet growing business demands
Develop and implement strategies to recruit, retain, and mentor top engineering talent
Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development
Mentoring and Career Planning:
Provide mentorship and career planning support to engineers at all levels
Conduct regular performance reviews and facilitate growth opportunities
Develop and maintain a comprehensive compensation plan
Ensuring Product Quality and Best Practices:
Ensure the highest standards of product quality through rigorous testing regimes and SOPs
Oversee architecture decisions and design to manage technical debt effectively
Implement industry best practices to drive excellence in engineering processes
Vision and Team Building:
Collaborate with stakeholders to help craft and execute the product vision
Build and nurture a cohesive and collaborative engineering team
Make long-term decisions to support the company’s strategic goals
Performance Management:
Set and monitor engineering KPIs aligned with business and customer objectives
Drive performance management initiatives to ensure the engineering team meets its goals
