We are looking for an experienced web3/web2 CTO to oversee all development across the group. This is an opportunity to work across a huge range of products and stages of development and really put your own mark on the company’s engineering frameworks, processes and culture. You will work closely with our two founders to shape and execute our technology strategy in alignment with our business goals and current standards of excellence. We are a young and dynamic team and are looking for someone equally innovative, and excited about building the future of web3 and beyond.
In the first 6 months you will
Review and optimise the system architecture across the core platform and products.
Work across a diverse set of new and existing products (content / mints / tokens / applications) building and launching them to market.
Review and refine the engineering frameworks, processes and culture to archetype an optimised development environment.
Prepare the engineering team for scale, including hiring and levelling of existing team members.
Work with the C-suite to define and shape future roadmaps for the group.
Degree in computer science, statistics or related field.
2+ years blockchain experience (Solidity, Ethereum, or another blockchain).
7+ years management experience.
Understanding of blockchain applications and experience writing code using blockchain latform’s library (e.g Web3.js for Ethereum).
Proven 0-1 journeys with high-growth start-ups.
Player & manager (wants to write code and lead times).
Has hired and trained teams.
Familiarity with relevant security and audit standards.
