Superduper is a web3 entertainment and IP company on a mission to onboard the first billion users into web3. We launched 15 months ago in the fast-paced and ever evolving NFT space, hitting the top 25 of all time in volume with well-known holders such as Steve Aoki, Brooklyn Beckham, Jaden Smith, and Faze Banks.

Overlord is our first hero, consumer facing brand. Within its universe we’re creating multiple sets of IP via characters and stories (the Marvel of the future). Creepz, our first character set, already has an animated series being produced by Seth Green and his production company Stoopid Buddy, multiple video games in development, and a fashion line designed by GQ’s ‘menswear’s designer of the year’ about to launch with a major global retailer. 

The business has extremely ambitious product, community, and company growth goals, and is represented by WME and ThreeSixZero. In the next 6 months we’ll be launching multiple new experiences/sets of IP with the goal of creating a culturally relevant megabrand for mass market adoption. You'll be joining at an exciting time as our fanatical global fan base, who already generate over 1bn Twitter engagements per quarter and 1m Discord messages continues to expand, and the company takes off into its next phase of hyper growth.

Job summary:

We are looking for a highly creative, self-motivated designer with a passion for illustration. You must be able to quickly sketch concepts and bring them to life in a visually compelling way. This needs someone who can bring their own ideas, or work to a brief. This is a senior position so the ability to oversee projects and run them from conception to completion is important.

The role requires the ability to work with individuals across creative, tech, marketing, and community. What’s really important is that you have a real passion and enthusiasm for what you do, great ideas and a good skillset, are keen to develop and are willing to go the extra mile to create something great. Experience working at startups and knowledge of web3 desirable. 

Responsibilities:

• Skilled illustrator with the ability to quickly sketch out concepts and bring them to life 

• Develop and execute creative ideas for a variety of projects across different verticals (inc fashion, gaming, and entertainment) 

• Liaise with internal colleagues in the production of design work, progressing projects in a timely manner from initial concept to completed finished product. Prepare production-ready artwork for all types of digital design work, ensuring high standards are maintained and communicating regular progress updates. Advise colleagues on the most suitable format and style when required. 

• Use software and traditional techniques to create high-quality illustrations that tell compelling stories and communicate ideas effectively

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure that our designs are cutting-edge and effective

• Ensure that every design/piece of content adheres to brand guidelines, tone of voice, and is consistent with the company's aesthetic

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise workload effectively

Qualifications/requirements:

• Impressive portfolio – be able to demonstrate striking web/app, social media content and brand design work

• Exceptional hand-drawn and/or computer-assisted illustration skills

• Experience working with Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign – After Effects would be a bonus. (We’re tool agnostic, as long as you create stunning graphics, we’re fine) 

• Digital production experience and knowledge

• UI and UX experience (useful not vital)

• Strong project management skills with experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously

• Experience working for a startup or any web3 background desirable but not essential

• GMT -5 + GMT +2 time zone
