About Sporting Lagos

Sporting Lagos is a football club located in Lagos, Nigeria, and currently playing in the NNL, the second division of Nigerian football.

Our mission is to build a multigenerational institution that excels in every aspect of the game, builds communities of passionate fans and contributes to the resurgence of Nigerian football both on a club and a national level.

Two and a half years in, we’ve promoted and relegated, redefined the matchday experience, and gained tens of thousands of young, passionate fans.

About the Video Producer Role

As Video Producer at Sporting Lagos, you will take full ownership of everything video-related for the Club. This means you will be in charge in crafting and executing Sporting Lagos’ video strategy across all platforms, while remaining hands-on in video creation. This role requires a diverse skill set, technical know-how and creativity to shape the visual storytelling of Sporting Lagos. 

You will be an integral part of the Club’s storytelling and media team, actively working on a wide range of content, matchday recordings, social media videos, and marketing campaigns. You will also oversee the live streaming of matches, highlight production, and ensure all video assets are organised and accessible to stakeholders.

What you’ll do at Sporting Lagos

• Take charge of match recording and live streaming operations.

• Produce timely match highlights, specific player highlights, and fan highlights.

• Collaborate with the storytelling team to craft, execute and evolve Sporting Lagos’ video strategy across all platforms.

• Record training sessions for technical analysis and documentation.

• Create content and marketing videos for the Club and for campaigns in collaboration with partners.

• Ensure video files are well-organised, accessible, and properly archived for future use.

• Ensure the Club’s media assets, such as cameras, hard drives, etc, are handled right and kept in proper condition.

• Document the Club’s key moments, capturing our journey.

Who you are

You’ll thrive as Sporting Lagos’ Video Producer if you have:

• Strong experience in video shooting and editing.

• Experience in live streaming and production of high-quality, time-sensitive content.

• The ability to work quickly, with strong organisational skills to create systems for efficiency and problem-solving.

• A creative mind, bringing fresh ideas to the table.

• An interest in football.

• The ability to travel with the team as needed.

• Motion design skills (highly desirable but not required).

• An eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

• Leadership and coordination abilities to work with others
