Senior Engineer - Applied Cryptography

Sonr's is seeking an Applied Cryptography Engineer to work on our new digital assets custody solution to bring institutional grade security, scalability, and compliance to the exciting cryptocurrency domain.  You will be a crucial member of the team and have a chance to shape our architecture, tech stack, and engineering culture.  You will also gain first-hand experience building for the Decentralized Web and helping shape standard specifications.  We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, biased for action, and comfortable working in a startup environment.


  • Support and optimize our multi-party computation (MPC) protocol implementation 

  • Support and optimize our threshold signing implementation

  • Build and optimize our crypto wallet application

  • Familiar with Go

  • Familiar with elliptic-curve cryptography (ECC)

  • Familiar with Threshold Signature Schemes (TSS)

  • Familiar with Multi-party Computation (MPC)

Bonus Points

  • Experience with building crypto wallet application for Bitcoin and/or Ethereum

  • Familiar with Elliptic Curve Signatures (ECDSA) and Secp256k1

  • Familiar with generating zero-knowledge proofs

  • Familiar with iOS Secure Enclave
