About Solidec

Solidec is a climate tech startup based in Houston, Texas, spun out of Rice University. We are redefining chemical manufacturing by making chemicals from only water and air. Chemicals today are made using fossil feedstocks and fossil energy, and they account for over 40% of industrial carbon emissions. With our breakthrough technology, it is our mission to reverse decades of emissions and generate sustainable chemicals for years to come.
