SIXGEN would like to add an ambitious, dedicated, and self-motivated Senior Application Developer to our team.

Responsibilities:

• Create software that meets government requirements using multiple programming languages and source code

• Breakdown program specifications and translate into code

• Combine design and test all elements of a program and guide development process to completion

• Write detailed documentation of the program by users

• Conduct User acceptance testing

• Discuss and establish program specification with government stakeholders

Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance + Polygraph

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

• 12+ Years' Experience in/with:

  • Object-oriented programming (OOP) and design

  • Web development (i.e., mySQL, XML, Apahe, php, or ColdFusion)

  • System Requirements Analysis; Software System Design; Software System Development; Software System Integration; Software System Testing

  • Common protocols/standards such as TCP/IP, H.323, X.25, SNMP, 802.11, 802.16, MEGACO, MGCP, or SIP

  • Script writing (i.e., Perl, C shell, Python, Bourne shell, etc)

  • Kernel knowledge of Unix /Linux

  • Reverse engineering and analysis of software

  • Database experience with Sybase, Microsoft, or Oracle

  • Data analysis: Bit-level

  • Developing:

    • software applications in C, C++, or Java; for Linux, Unix, or Windows

    • DLLs for Windows environment

    • Computer telephony platforms (i.e., Dialogic)
