Select Design is looking for a talented and dedicated administrative coordinator to join our team in Burlington, VT. The ideal candidate is proactive, a skilled multitasker, and a clear communicator. This role encompasses accounts payable, human resources, and office administration-related responsibilities across a range of departments. This position is crucial to maintaining the operations and daily functioning of a 50+ person creative environment.

Responsibilities: 

  • Working with the VP Finance, the Finance Manager is responsible for: 

  • Principal liaison between Select finance department and our client's financial departments regarding invoicing and payment issues. 

  • Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports. 

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards. 

  • Advise / consult with colleagues and executive management on decisions related to the company’s finances. 

  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to support business operations 

    Minimum Requirements: 

  • Relevant four-year business degree or equivalent experience 

  • Working knowledge of accounting concepts 

  • Ability to manage several overlapping responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining a keen focus on details and meeting deadlines. 

  • Self-starter who values collaboration and feedback. 

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. 

  • Proactive communication skills 

  • Accountable decision maker 

  • Proficient at identifying problems and proactively solving them to continuously improve business operations. 

    Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Expert level critical thinking skills 

  • 3-7 years business experience
