Position Summary

We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and service-focused Front Desk Clerk to be the face of Las Verandas Hotel & Villas. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in setting the tone for an exceptional stay. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment reflective of Próspera’s culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly welcome and check-in guests with a friendly, professional demeanor, ensuring a seamless arrival experience.

  • Handle guest check-outs efficiently, managing billing and payment processes accurately.

  • Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions within Próspera and Roatán.

  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, ensuring their satisfaction at all times.

  • Manage reservations, both in-person and via phone/email, using the hotel’s booking system.

  • Maintain accurate records of guest information, transactions, and room availability.

  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs and preferences.

  • Uphold hotel policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Próspera’s regulatory environment and standards.

  • Serve as an ambassador for both Las Verandas and Próspera, embodying professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to service excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a front desk, reception, or customer service role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.

  • Proficiency in using reservation systems, POS systems, and basic office software.

  • Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is highly desirable.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • High level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor with a focus on hospitality excellence.
