Position details

In a nutshell, you have a strong background in software engineering and you will lead technological functions of the company. Furthermore you’ll have the opportunity to lead high-caliber projects and highly professional team members.

Some key points of the position:

  • Organise, monitor and manage technical aspects of project implementation

  • Understand and lead technical decisions regarding the life cycle of software development, such as solution design, architecture and teamwork

  • Guide & motivate team members upon our company’s standards on trust and excellence

  • Improve the quality of our end products by reviewing the quality of code and solutions provided, while promoting best practices

  • Lead by example by contributing to the codebase yourself whenever possible

  • You’ll be asked to contribute feedback and ideas, towards the company’s strategy and growth

Ideal experience

Things that we work with and would like some related experience include:

  • At least 5 years experience building software solutions

  • At least 2 years building solutions in and/or around the Django ecosystem

  • Experience of basic practices in CI/CD, development workflows, versioning, containerization, devops

  • Experience in utilizing amazon web services for staging and production environments

  • Experience in designing and building APIs

  • Experience with databases (especially SQL)

  • At least basic understanding of network and infrastructure practices
