Job Overview
Osmoses Inc. is a diverse and growing team of scientists, engineers, and business professionals developing a new generation polymer membrane technology for industrial gas separations. Osmoses Inc. membrane technologies can redefine the way chemical separations are performed today and disrupt separation markets worldwide, reducing industrial energy consumption while accelerating the adoption of alternative energy sources with lower environmental impact.
Job Duties:
Work with membrane scientists in scaling-up batch membrane fabrication to roll to roll Industrial-scale membrane fabrication methods.
Work with membrane scientists to develop methods for fabrication of thin-film composite membranes.
Characterize the transport properties of membranes using gas permeation systems.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of chemists, chemical engineers, and material scientists to design membrane materials.
Maintain detailed laboratory records and contribute to regular reports.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineer or related fields with hands-on laboratory experience.
Coursework and laboratory experience in polymer science, chemical separations, and transport phenomena.
Interest to work on industrial scale manufacturing.
Self-starter, team player and ability to work in a creative, ambiguous, and fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
