Why? 

Everyone spends money, but only a few people know how they spend their money. We believe this is wrong.

Most people lack financial consciousness because it is too painful to take agency over. Personal finance tools today are filled with scary graphs and words. 

Our mission is to enable everyone with financial consciousness.

Where are we, and where are we going?

We are a team of 4 working from our office in New York City. 

We have a product in the wild and strong retention.

We just closed our Seed round from a group of prominent investors.

We spend most of our awake time reimagining how the young generation will do personal finance.

Qualifications / Fit

• 5+ years of relevant backend development experience

• Strong understanding of best practices for modern apps, APIs, and microservices

• Experience in designing high-stress software architectures and deploying them with a DevOps mindset 

• Experience working with and scaling relational databases such as Postgres

• Experience working with background jobs (Celery with Redis, etc)

• You have confidence you can build a robust architecture that can support massive scale as we grow to new users

• You are autonomous and have already worked in a startup

• You are ready to grind (this is an early-stage startup, not a 9-5)

• You are based in New York City or willing to relocate
