About the role

You’ll be comfortable working with clients and liaising with them to understand their requirements, define strategies on website builds and establish the goals and metrics; working with technical, delivery and SEO teams to implement these across the projects. 

This will involve gathering requirements to determine scope, agree on technology choices and UI/UX to ensure user experience is at the centre of each project. In this role, you must be confident working closely with clients and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Working on a range of internal and external digital projects, including concept development and consideration of technology choices, identifying the key value proposition, consumer needs, and value to the business

  • Identify key opportunities to drive client value and collaborate with clients to bring them to life

  • Conduct both primary and secondary research, to formulate impactful digital strategies

  • Plan and lead client workshops and research sessions

  • Be proactive, provoke debate, and identify what the agenda for future discussion should be

  • Craft compelling narratives in presentations to bring clients along on the journey

  • Earn the trust of clients and build strong relationships with them

  • Work closely with design and development teams to pass on insights and specifications

  • Optionally, able to help  support our talented junior and midweight strategists, including line management responsibilities where possible, taking charge of major projects



About you 

You will have a thorough understanding of the multiple components involved in making a website successful, including digital marketing and SEO, UX and you’ll have a great technical understanding of websites and best use of technologies.

In this role, you will be working with a team of technologists, designers, strategists, developers and researchers.


  • You'll develop excellent relationships with clients, putting them at ease, understanding their position, and working towards a mutual goal.

  • You are adept at understanding and empathising with both users and brands to deliver compelling ideas and experiences that propel businesses

  • You are able to communicate with different stakeholders and positively challenge them with a proactive approach

  • You are able to guide the design process from framing a challenge, to research and insights, to concept and implementation

  • You iterate on your ideas and designs based on user input and feedback from your team

  • You can work in a cross-functional team with other designers, developers and product owners to build user-friendly digital products and services for a range of clients.



Nice to haves:

  • You are proficient at translating insights into design opportunities within constraints. Analysing all research and feedback to gain user insight – and incorporate this feedback into new ideas and designs

  • Experience working with expertly crafted wireframes, storyboards, Hi-Lo fidelity prototypes, concept sketches, interaction designs and user flows
