As a rapidly growing business, we’re looking for a talented Senior Copywriter to join our multidisciplinary team of technologists, designers, strategists and researchers. The role is varied, and gives the opportunity to create original, informative, and engaging content both internally and for our clients with international audiences. 

Our work spans a wide range of sectors, including MedTech, FinTech, Creative, Venture, FoodTech; with an increasing focus on sustainability through our work with charities, ClimateTech, and AgTech companies.

About the role 

We sit at the intersection of design and technology and value individuals with a keen eye for detail, and a good mix of creative, technical and commercial knowledge. This person should be comfortable working with and adopting different tones across various content types including our website, case studies, pitch decks and client projects.

  • This is a permanent, full-time position

  • We’re headquartered in North Greenwich, London, we support flexible working, and are happy to accept candidates from anywhere in the UK.

  • You’ll be working alongside a multidisciplinary team of technologists, designers, strategists and researchers to deliver digital projects for clients

  • It never gets boring - client projects vary greatly in scope and challenge

 

Responsibilities

  • Create compelling copy that grabs attention and entices the viewer to read on

  • Writing great content across a wide range of media (blogs, social media, websites and pitch decks).

  • Maintain brand consistency and technical accuracy

  • Show creative thinking across your writing and your everyday approach to agency work

  • Adopt an agile approach to ensure work is completed on time and within budget

  • Collaborate with the design team to help them source or create engaging visuals to accompany your writing

About you 

We are looking for someone who is motivated, communicative, and detail oriented. The kind of person who loves to problem solve and automate common everyday tasks.

  • You’re an experienced copywriter with at least 4 years experience, either in-house or with an agency 

  • You’ve worked on content/copy for US audiences (We have a presence across the pond)

  • In addition to being an experienced copywriter, you should be able to demonstrate a wide range of work on a variety of digital platforms.

  • You have a thorough understanding of how tone of voice influences audiences, and you're able to switch between voices with ease.

  • You’re a strong researcher; you can use research to turn a simple idea into something brilliant

  • You are a conceptual copywriter who is able to create content without much client involvement

  • Not only can you understand complex briefs, but you also question them with an investigative approach, constantly challenging yourself to understand how they can be improved.

  • You’re able to achieve tasks independently and as part of a team with minimal input from others

  • You are self-driven and have great organisational skills

  • You have a flawless command of the english language, excellent spelling and grammar, and strong proofreading and editing skills

  • You're open to new ideas and embrace ambiguity

  • You’ll work hard to understand our clients and the industries they sit within, gathering insights through research and interviews to tailor content that represents their offering

Nice to Haves

We would also love if you have:

  • Experience working within a fast paced, agency environment

  • A proven track record of implementing SEO strategies to achieve optimum visibility

  • Multilingual ability, with cultural awareness
