About this role
Omniscient Digital is growing quickly, and we deeply believe in our commitment never to compromise content quality. It’s what differentiates us from other agencies. Producing great content often requires the input of subject matter experts.
We’re urgently seeking a logistics expert with knowledge of freight and parcel to serve as a content consultant. We’d like to hear from you if you’ve held positions such as Freight/Parcel Analyst or Transportation Coordinator, and have hands-on experience:
Auditing and processing freight and parcel invoices
Analyzing transportation costs and expenditures
Doing freight accounting
Negotiating with carriers
Assisting with diversification of carrier networks

Responsibilities:
Verify the accuracy of content on topics like transportation costs, parcel spend management, and freight audits, leveraging both your firsthand knowledge and technical documentation from our client
Offer feedback on whether content is sufficiently detailed for already-knowledgeable transportation and finance/accounting personas
Share thoughts on how the capabilities and differentiators of our client’s audit and pay software are showcased in content to ensure it will attract potential users
Manage complex information and multiple projects within content specifications and budget restrictions
Ensure all projects are completed on time
Job Qualifications and Technical Skill Sets:
5+ years of experience in the logistics or transportation industry. You can use your expert-level industry knowledge, robust client documentation, and reputable industry sources to help us produce content that aligns with our client’s expectations and speaks to their audience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and healthy analytical and critical thinking skills. You have no problem communicating complex concepts simply and can advise on specific ways to improve the accuracy and appeal of our logistics content.
Time management and organizational skills. You always meet your deadlines—or communicate in advance when you may need a deadline pushed back.
Positive attitude. You’re kind, passionate, curious, and friendly! You welcome feedback and love learning how to improve your craft.
Other Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with collaboration tools. You’re comfortable leaving comments and suggestions in Google Docs, navigating Google Drive, and using project management tools like Airtable (or you’re a quick study).
