We are seeking a skilled and experienced Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this Role you will be working closely with our Tech-Team for achieving high available and legally compliant Infrastructure. Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain high-quality front-end code: Write clean, efficient, and scalable code for web applications, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility across different browsers and devices.
Collaborate with design and product teams: Work closely with UI/UX designers and product managers to understand user requirements, translate design mockups into functional user interfaces, and provide input on UI/UX improvements. Bring in own ideas to enhance user experience and interface design.
Optimize user interfaces for performance and accessibility: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the front-end codebase to enhance user experience and page load times. Implement accessibility standards and practices to ensure usability for all users.
Stay updated on front-end technologies and trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends, tools, and frameworks in front-end development, advocating for the adoption of new technologies that improve development efficiency and user experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with back-end engineers, QA testers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of front-end components with back-end systems. Participate in code reviews and team meetings to facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the engineering team.
You thrive on taking significant responsibility within our small tech team, demonstrating accountability in driving projects forward. Your proactive approach ensures that tasks are completed efficiently, and you willingly take ownership of challenges, contributing to the team's success and cohesion.
About You
Excellent proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, mastering modern language features, asynchronous programming, and object-oriented principles.
Advanced skills in ReactJS and NextJS, or analogous frameworks, demonstrating expertise in frontend development, state management, and responsive design.
Ability to write tested code, ensuring code reliability, maintainability, and scalability through unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.
Experience in backend development is advantageous, with proficiency in server-side technologies like Node.js, Express.js, and RESTful API design.
Experience with additional technologies such as MongoDB, Redis, Docker, and Ubuntu, showcasing expertise in database management, containerization, and Linux-based system usage is advantageous.
You bring either significant experience in managing big projects with a high level of responsibility or possess a relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
