Work on fresh narratives for online tarot

Moonlight is a small startup based in San Francisco working to serve tens of millions of tarot hobbyists and professionals worldwide as a blossoming form of online wellness. We built an interactive virtual tarot platform that offers easy-to-book personalized readings, collaborative rituals, and digital decks. We’re powering a blossoming form of online wellness, making it simpler for people to connect and explore tarot together.

As our first social media hire, you'll have the opportunity to build an online community centered around illuminating rituals between friends and practitioners. You'll be part of a small, collaborative team, working together to make creative decisions that shape the perception of tarot.

What you’ll be working on

• Managing and creating content for Moonlight's existing social media accounts, including TikTok and Instagram, aligned with our platform’s branding

• Designing and executing engaging social media campaigns with creative storytelling to grow our community, which may include interviewing customers and tarot readers to create compelling content

• Collaborating with our team to craft and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy

• Using your knowledge of tarot to make content that resonates with newcomers, hobbyists, and professionals

• Engaging directly with our community across platforms (TikTok & Instagram), fostering a vibrant and interactive online presence

• Monitoring social media trends and analytics to guide strategy adjustments and optimize engagement

Requirements

• Proven experience managing and growing social media accounts, particularly TikTok and Instagram, with a portfolio showcasing your work

• Strong video editing, visual content creation, and curatorial skills, with the ability to produce compelling, engaging, and shareable social media content

• Familiarity and passion for tarot, with the ability to create content that resonates with diverse audiences

• Excellent communication and community management skills, with the ability to foster positive interactions and engage with followers

• Bonus: In-depth knowledge of tarot ✨

• Bonus: Experience running social media for other consumer tech products, wellness companies, or video games
