Senior Full Stack Engineer

At Makelog, we're on a mission to help companies communicate and drive awareness of their new products and features to their customers and internal stakeholders. Today, sharing what ships is incredibly inefficient, time-consuming, and tedious - especially for the fastest moving teams.

We're looking for highly skilled engineers to help change the way companies fundamentally communicate constant changes! In this role, you'll be leading the development of new products and features that all of our users will see, shaping the technical vision and roadmap, and helping us solidify early engineering best practices.

This is an Individual Contributor position with plenty of potential to grow into a management role as we scale.

As Senior Full Stack Engineer you will:

• Lead the development of brand new products and features to help users communicate changes more effectively, spanning across the UI, APIs, and any other tools and services

• Optimize our data integration pipelines

• Work at all levels of the stack with a concentration on either the frontend or the backend.

• Collaborate with customers as well as our CEO and Engineering team to iterate on our product

• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure quality and good architecture

• Set our current and future teammates up for success by writing maintainable, clear, well-architected code, tests, and documentation

• Help assess and recruit future engineers

What you bring:

• Experience with modern Javascript frameworks (React, Vue), RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL

• Experience with Node.JS, MySQL

• Experience with cloud based infrastructure like AWS, GCP, and Azure

• An entrepreneurial mindset and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment

• Intrinsic curiosity and motivation to solve difficult problems for customers

You’ll be a great fit if you:

• Have several years of experience across the entire stack, from frontend to backend

• Have scaled production software to support rapid growth at another technology company

• Enjoy working closely with customers to build features and solve problems

• Can balance moving fast with doing things "right"

• Are fluent in, or have an interest in learning, Go

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• An open and growth mindset when giving and receiving feedback
