Job Responsibilities

  • Spearhead efforts to develop and cultivate relationships with emerging industry talent (i.e. producers, directors, subjects, and on-camera talent) in order to source ideas which will be developed into non-fiction projects

  • Manage Keeda’s pipeline of projects and ensure appropriate resources are being deployed to meet timelines

  • Be the custodian of internal production processes with a sound understanding of production in various formats

  • Serve as the key production lead on all projects in pre development, development and production and ensuring alignment with Keeda’s mission

  • Work in close partnership with all internal and external stakeholders to drive projects from script to screen

  • Ensure all protocols and policies of Finance, Rights & Clearances, S&P and Legal departments are adhered to for every project in development

  • Liaise with internal teams as and when necessary to at various stages of pre- or post-development

  • Build, maintain and update Keeda’s filters and organisational mission through the projects we chose to pursue

  • Serve as a key contributor to the overall Keeda strategy as part of the leadership team

  • Responsible for managing, motivating, and driving other junior members of the development team

  • Liaison to other departments including Production, Finance and Legal as and when the need arises



  • Has around 8-12 yrs of work experience in content creation and/or content production of non-fiction IPs

  • An ability to successfully identify emerging talent, and cultivate relationships with producers, directors, writers, agents, directors, and actors

  • Understands the responsibilities of being a producer and the kind of demands that come from holding a project together

  • A strong knowledge and understanding of tone and genre of non-fiction content, of the underlying structure long form narratives and of the emotional impact different types of stories have on Gen Y & Gen Z audiences

  • An ability to identify projects with creative and commercial potential, and use their networks and skills to transform the initial premise into a compelling property

  • A thorough understanding of the needs of production requirement to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget


  • Should have a curious mind and ideally consume non-fiction content across genres and formats

  • Should be interested in non-fiction content across music, culture, gender, identity, sports, gaming and crypto

  • Should understand how media businesses run and operate

  • Should be keen to adapt to a startup culture, adopting processes and tools, working with a constantly evolving landscape
