Company Background

Supari Studios is our award-winning branded content studio at Kulfi Collective that helps brands create differentiated, relatable and scalable video content properties for Gen Y & Gen Z audiences online. Over the past 9 years, we have produced over 10k minutes of content that has been viewed over 1.3b times online for some of the most ambitious brands globally such as Red Bull, Google, Netflix and Flipkart to name a few.

We help brands engage with their audiences online by blending content with strategy, creativity and technology.


Job Responsibilities

The key role for the Strategy Lead is to build out Content Strategy for brands, and deliver a springboard for the team of Creative Directors and Producers. 

The lead needs to have input on the Why (why should brand X be doing Y aided by Audience Insight / Research / Trends / Analysis) and Where should they be doing this (Platform Insights / Trends / Content Distribution) helping the creative teams flesh out the What (Final Messaging / Content Buckets / Key IP ideas) and How (Final Format / Duration / Budgets) 

  • Keeping abreast of new platform trends, formats, and sharing the same with the rest of the team on a regular basis

  • Build out specific trend modules to reinforce the thought leadership and strategic thinking of the organisation, and develop and execute distribution plans for the same 

  • Undertake competitive analysis, industry analysis research; oversee the same as and when applicable 

  • Take the lead independently on select strategy decks, conduct problem discovery calls with clients and translate the same into creative briefs

  • Be the Strategy POC for campaigns or content IPs and collaborate with the business development team, producers and creative teams on pitches and existing work

  • Work closely with the AVP Strategy on CS pitches

  • Develop/ oversee the development of compelling case studies for top campaigns

  • Understand basic platform analytics and digital media, and have a clear point of view and suggestions on brands/ briefs

  • Maintain ongoing relationships with the various parties to anticipate and resolve potential problems from a strategy perspective


Requirement

Essential

  • 4-6 years in a strategy role at an agency

  • A proven track record in developing strategic communication/ content/ digital marketing plans 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • The ability to make complex subjects understandable

  • Ability to convey and present thought in a sharp and simple manner


Additional Information

The work that we do at Supari Studios primary comprises of 3 types of projects:

  •  Campaigns

    • Hero Campaigns: big ticket projects (digital campaign videos/TVCs)

    • Strategy work typically comprises: Research, Content Analysis, Trend watching, Campaign & Platform Distribution Strategy

  • Content IPs

    • This comprises Branded Content that could be multi episode IPs that rest on OTT platforms/ Youtube Channels

    • Strategy work typically comprises: Research, Content Analysis, sharp understanding of Platforms, Audiences, Distribution Strategy 

  • Content Studio brief

    • Hero, Hub and Hygiene: Branded Content with multiple pieces of content/ content series/ high volume of content 

    • Strategy work typically involves: Strong brand understanding,  understanding platforms, trend analysis and forecasting, analysis of performance of our content and building plans to deliver higher engagement and quality content consistently
