COMPANY BACKGROUND:

Post Office is our new media lab at Kulfi Collective focussed on producing immersive content & virtual experiences for brands and platforms at scale. We are a diverse team of designers, animators, creative technologists, producers, and developers with an urge to test the limits of creativity and technology to tell stories that are imaginative and extraordinary.

Our projects range from the creation of digital content in motion design and animation for the web to building virtual experiences through emerging media technologies such as AR and virtual production for the metaverse.

Job Responsibilities

  • Strong animation and visualization skills to bring designs to life.

  • Create VR/AR experiences by using Blueprint visual scripting in the Unreal Engine to create the overall flow and user experience

  • Work closely with the design team and creative leaders on designing and creating 3D environments using Unreal Engine

  • Create and implement textures, materials, rigs, and light models into optimized scenes quickly and efficiently.

  • Experienced with Blueprint and C++

  • Optimize scene and graphic packages for use in real time rendering in Unreal Engine.

  • Lead optimization efforts to maintain the show framerate at VR spec

  • Responsible for creating photo realistic 3D output for real time rendering.

  • Collaborate closely with artists and engineers to ensure that technical and visual requirements are met.

  • Grasp the complexity of project planning and implementation, including scope of work, time estimation and resource allocation

  • Identify and implement processes to advance more successful implementation of deliverables.

  • Coordinate with production and technical staff to integrate graphic packages into live production workflow.

Requirements:

  • Proficient knowledge of Unreal Engine

  • Must have VR experience and setup using HTC Vive, Oculus, or similar programs

  • Ability to complete aspects of 3D shot production

  • Be able to convert data, understand tessellation for real-time or offline, data prep, scene setup optimization, surface normal using Unreal EngineΒ 

  • Basic concept modeling experience in polygons, shader, texture creation, and UV mapping

  • Efficiently structure projects to accommodate collaboration and rapid iteration

  • Has strong understanding of lighting principles, HDRI, backplates, and photography

  • Has strong analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills

  • Great organizational and time-management skills

  • Is flexible and adaptable to change and changing priorities

  • Is capable of organizing, motivating, and directing people with clarity and organization
