Key Objectives
Deliver high-quality technical support to end-users in a professional and efficient manner.
Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with IT team members to enhance system performance and user experience.
Ensure IT policies and procedures are followed to maintain security and compliance.
Responsibilities
Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues via phone, email, or in-person.
Diagnose and resolve technical problems involving desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems and applications as needed.
Assist with user account management, including access permissions and password resets.
Document support activities and maintain accurate records of issues and solutions.
Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Support IT asset management by tracking inventory and coordinating repairs or replacements.
Participate in ongoing training to stay current with emerging technologies and best practices.
Requirements
Proven experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
Familiarity with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace).
Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize support requests in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified) are a plus.
