ROLE
We are seeking a highly collaborative R&D technician to support the company’s product development efforts. You will join a rapidly growing, interdisciplinary team of five exceptional scientists and engineers collaborating closely to introduce our innovative materials to the wind turbine and automotive markets.
Your essential responsibilities:
Conduct laboratory experiments and perform mechanical, thermal, and chemical testing on various materials to evaluate their properties and performance.
Collect, record, and analyze experimental data using appropriate techniques and software. Present data and findings to the R&D team and other stakeholders.
Participate in the scaling up of lab-developed materials to production levels.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
Manage inventory of lab supplies and materials, placing orders as needed.
Your experience or skills - These points are not hard requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Our preferred qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory or R&D setting.
Hands-on experience with material characterization techniques and equipment.
Experience with 3D printing is preferrable.
