Role Overview

IT Manager you will have following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage IT services and assets, including infrastructure, networks, and hosting facilities

  • Execute and manage all roll-outs for IT projects: equipment, onboarding, technical support, documentation, help desk, etc.

  • Define, develop, and implement processes to improve IT efficiency and effectiveness

  • Collaborate in the conduction of audits related to SOC 2, HIPAA, and IT assets

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Finance) to develop and implement IT strategies

  • Scale IT systems with load tests to ensure they can handle increased demands

  • Perform regular backups of IT systems

  • Develop appropriate processes for data protection, recovery, and failover procedures; develop disaster recovery plans and procedures

  • Install and upgrade software components

  • Use automation to systematically integrate IT systems

  • Manage IT budgets and control costs

  • Ensure that all IT systems meet security and compliance standards

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers

  • Define IT policies for the organization and various teams, monitoring compliance

  • Monitor IT system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise

  • Identify and implement new technologies to improve IT infrastructure and services

Tech Stack:

  • Expertise in managing Linux, Windows & MacOs systems,

  • Experience with firewalls, VPN, TCP/IP, networking.

  • Experience with GCP (best) or AWS.

  • Startup experience.

Experience:

  • 5 years minimum experience as an IT Manager / System Administrator

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment of a startup would be great

  • Able to conduct audits related to SOC 2, HIPAA, and IT Assets

  • Can scale system load tests

  • Can perform regular backups of systems

  • Can implement appropriate processes for data protection, recovery, failover procedures

  • Can install/upgrade software components

  • Can integrate systems with automation processes


Intelligence:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related IT / Cybersecurity field

  • Strong scripting and automation skills will be critical to your success

  • Strong cross-team collaboration skills will also be critical to your role

  • You must be able to self-manage across a wide range of projects and tasks
