We're searching for an enthusiastic Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a knack for technology and a passion for AI to join our dynamic sales team. This role is crucial in generating a robust pipeline for our Account Executives by nurturing inbound leads and strategically prospecting into targeted accounts. The ideal candidate will be driven, curious, and eager to dive deep into the AI tech landscape, capable of engaging in meaningful, technical conversations with our savvy clients.


  • Engage with inbound leads to qualify them for the sales pipeline, ensuring a smooth handoff to Account Executives.

  • Proactively identify and reach out to prospects within targeted accounts through personalized outreach, showcasing Fireworks AI's unique value proposition.

  • Serve as a brand ambassador, educating potential clients on the power and potential of Fireworks' generative AI solutions.

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and sales teams to refine outreach strategies and messaging based on market feedback and insights.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and AI and machine learning developments to enhance prospect conversations.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.

  • Demonstrable interest in technology, sales, or business development, with a keen willingness to learn about AI and machine learning technologies.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging and building relationships with a technical audience.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with a results-driven approach.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Degrees in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field and/or knowledge of Python will be highly prioritized.

  • Entrepreneurial experience or previous involvement in startup environments showcasing a proactive and adaptable mindset.

  • Prior experience in a sales development role, particularly within the tech or AI industry, though optional.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms.

  • Active participation in relevant tech communities or a demonstrated interest in continuous learning and development in the AI space.
