Ethos is a security coordination layer that enables blockchains to easily bootstrap a validator network, leveraging the economic security of restaked ETH.

This enables the chains to cut the inflation of native token while achieving similar/higher levels of security

Role Description

We are in search of a Systems Engineer to join our early team at Ethos. This role will assist with:

• Designing our security sharing protocol.

• Spearheading our integration efforts with the Cosmos sdk.

• Building and refining our off-chain infrastructure that acts as a bridge from Ethereum to the blockchains in our ecosystem

• Developing and optimizing our Eigenlayer service contracts.

• Building out our blockchain integrations primarily in Go, along with some development in Rust.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a similar or related role.

• Technical Expertise: Familiarity and hands-on experience with L1 infrastructure (e.g. go-ethereum, cosmos-sdk, etc.), L2 infrastructure (OP stack, custom integrations), or node services (node operators, indexers, etc.)

• Crypto Knowledge: A solid grasp of crypto (currencies and cryptography), off-chain infrastructure, common trust assumptions and security tradeoffs.

• Familiarity with Eigenlayer.

• Familiarity with systems level programming and distributed systems development + debugging.
