We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer Lead to join our small engineering team. Our ideal candidate is highly autonomous, technically sharp, and detail-oriented, with experience owning projects from concept to completion. Today, we’re a team of seven with three full-time engineers, as well as engineering contribution from our two cofounders.

You have strong experience in both front-end and back-end development, and you're excited to write clean, efficient, scalable code. You care about creating a better world for music makers and are eager to explore new technologies.
What you’ll do
Deliver & own features and projects from concept to completion with high autonomy
Develop, test, and maintain our full stack alongside our engineering team
Collaborate deeply in product discussions to translate high level concepts to ensure the technical feasibility of product concepts, translating them into functional and performant features and applications
Bring your energy and perspective into every meeting and interaction, both within the team and around Catalog’s broader community
Identify and address bottlenecks, bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Multiple years of full-time software engineering, with a focus on full-stack or backend development.
Experience working on blockchain-based projects or demonstrated knowledge of web3 products, dev tools, and infrastructure is a plus.
Ability to tackle complex engineering problems that deliver results aligned with team objectives and strategic priorities
Familiarity with product delivery processes (e.g., Agile, Scrum), and tools (e.g., Linear, Notion, Figma, GitHub, MixPanel)
Comfortable with applications built on Ethereum (solidity experience is a plus)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
High level of emotional intelligence
Experience with protocol design and/or smart contract engineering
Contributes to the open source crypto community
Contributes or has contributed to the Ethereum ecosystem. Familiar with subgraphs and other core components of web3 infrastructure
