Marketing Development Representative


At Campfire, our mission is to provide universal access to connected learning experiences. These learning experiences, called Campfires, are the core of our business. As a Marketing Development Representative, you will be responsible for connecting individuals and companies who need access to these experiences and providing opportunities for them to get started.


As a Marketing Development Representative, you will be influential in growing Campfire’s customer base by building and nurturing relationships. You will be responsible for making connections with those who are looking for a manager training solution, guiding them to valuable resources, and inviting them to implement Campfire. This position requires a strong ability to make human connections, work creatively to solve problems, and share ideas openly.


Role-Specific Capabilities

  • Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to find in-segment companies and contacts

  • Build outreach lists in our target segment

  • Create outreach messaging and campaigns to build and nurture relationships with potential customers

  • Find ways to deliver value to our audience on social and other channels

  • Organize and manage Hubspot so that leads, opportunities, and deals are tracked appropriately

  • Create and follow up on Hubspot tasks, ensuring deals continue to move through the pipeline

  • Improve website and other top-of-funnel conversions

  • Create and run social media campaigns to increase outreach

  • Collaborate with the rest of the growth team weekly to share and implement ideas

  • Support leaders in product, sales, marketing, and content in various activities

Key Skills and Experience

  • Strong people and communication skills

  • Ability to take initiative and be the lead on projects

  • Ability to create organized, actionable outreach campaigns

  • Can think through a process from the beginning to its end, patch up holes, and add a human touch throughout

  • Outcomes focused and adept at balancing priorities and experience

  • Flexible and comfortable with experimentation, iterating and failing toward success

  • A deep, genuine empathy for managers, leaders, and their development

  • Experience in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, or another CRM is a plus
