Marketing Manager

CALA’s mission is to power physical product creation by connecting the world through accessible, digital infrastructure. We are in search of a Marketing Manager who will be responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.

The Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in scaling CALA’s industry presence and customer base.

This role is remote, but candidates are welcome to work out of our HQ in New York, NY.

Responsibilities:

  • Own CALA’s public image, ensuring it is cohesive and attractive to our target customers

  • Work closely with designers to deliver and maintain high quality marketing touch points such as the CALA website, landing pages, outbound emails, decks and customer presentations.

  • Coordinate with paid marketing specialists to manage customer-driving ads

  • Coordinate with CALA’s PR agency on press efforts

  • Own and maintain customer touchpoint maps

  • Own and maintain CALA’s voice and communication guidelines

  • Attend and coordinate CALA’s presence at industry trade shows

  • Work with the Director of Customer Experience to maintain the ideal customer journeys.

  • Work with customers to produce captivating case studies and testimonials

  • Implement SEO and SEM best practices

  • Create and maintain CALA’s annual marketing calendar

  • Work with the Sales and Account Management teams to understand customer value.

  • Own and report on customer acquisition cost metrics

  • Work with the leadership team to provide market opportunity analysis

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience (PR, advertising, marketing, communications preferred) in e-commerce

  • Experience working with medium-large size fashion brands is preferred

  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to use data to make decisions

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and keep stakeholders informed

  • Excellent reporting and analysis skills

  • Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns

  • Ability to communicate with cross functional team members

  • Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy
