Job description

Atlantic Quantum is seeking a fabrication engineer for our qubit fabrication effort. You will be working in a world-class cleanroom and have the opportunity to grow in your role as we expand our Swedish office. Your tasks will include:

  • Fabricating superconducting qubit processors.

  • Developing and validating advanced fabrication recipes.

  • Coordinating with the processor design team.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s in physics, electrical engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s in one of these fields plus at least two years of professional work experience.

  • At least two years of cleanroom experience in micro- and nanofabrication: lithography, deposition, etching, characterization, and metrology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with qubit fabrication: superconducting qubits, spin qubits, or another type of solid state qubit.

Gothenburg, Sweden.

Candidates must be authorized to work within the EU. The candidate must have the capacity to comply with the requirements of applicable U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
