Job description

Atlantic Quantum is seeking a senior fabrication engineer for our qubit fabrication effort. You will be working in a world-class cleanroom and have the opportunity to grow into a leadership role as we expand our Swedish office. Your tasks will include:

• Fabricating superconducting qubit processors.

• Developing and validating advanced fabrication recipes.

• Coordinating with the processor design team.

Required Qualifications

• PhD in physics, electrical engineering, or related engineering discipline. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s or Master’s in one of these fields plus at least three years of professional work experience.

• Cleanroom experience in micro- and nanofabrication: lithography, deposition, etching, characterization, and metrology.

• Experience with qubit fabrication: superconducting qubits, spin qubits, or another type of solid state qubit.

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience with superconducting qubits.

Location

Gothenburg, Sweden. Flexibility to visit our Cambridge office in the US on a regular basis is appreciated.
