Quantum Research Scientist

Atlantic Quantum is seeking a research scientist for our measurement and control software efforts. You will be working closely with our software and hardware teams to build measurement infrastructure and perform superconducting circuit characterization and calibration. Your tasks will include:
Setting up lab infrastructure for the control of superconducting qubits
Tuning up and operating high-fidelity quantum processors
Developing control software for automated calibration

PhD in Physics, Electrical engineering, software engineering, or related engineering discipline. Alternatively, BSc or MSc in one of these fields and at least three years of work experience.
Research or industry experience in superconducting circuit measurement.
High proficiency in Python or in a similar high-level programming language.
Experience with Agile development in general and Atlassian’s Agile software suite in particular.
