About Apricot

At Apricot, we build software that helps home health clinicians spend less time on paperwork and more time with patients.

Our product relies on accurate, timely data flowing through complex workflows behind the scenes. When those systems work well, clinicians move faster and agencies run smoothly. When they don’t, everything slows down.

We’re a fast-moving team that values ownership, direct feedback, and continuous improvement. This role plays a key part in keeping our systems running reliably as we scale.

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy individual to join our EMR Operations team and help monitor and maintain the systems that power Apricot behind the scenes. EMR stands for Electronic Medical Record system and this role is crucial to how our data flows into those systems.

You’ll be responsible for keeping automated data workflows running smoothly — identifying issues, stepping in when something breaks, and helping prevent the same problems from happening again. This role requires attention to detail, good judgment, and comfort working in evolving systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Monitor and maintain data workflows

    • Oversee automated workflows (RPA) to ensure tasks are progressing accurately and on time

    • Step in quickly when issues arise to keep processes moving

  • Identify and resolve issues

    • Investigate workflow exceptions, data discrepancies, and bottlenecks

    • Troubleshoot issues and escalate when needed

    • Work with internal teams to resolve inconsistencies

  • Improve system reliability

    • Track patterns in failures or disruptions

    • Surface insights to Engineering and Product to prevent repeat issues

    • Help improve how workflows are monitored and maintained

  • Maintain operational visibility

  • Document issues, resolutions, and trends

  • Ensure time-sensitive documentation tasks are completed accurately

  • Collaborate across teams

    • Partner with Engineering, Product and Operations to improve system performance

    • Support internal users when data issues impact their workflows

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Detail-oriented: You catch inconsistencies quickly and care about getting things right

  • Technically curious: You’re comfortable working with systems, tools, and workflows

  • Problem-solver: You like digging into issues, understanding root causes, and fixing them

  • Pattern-aware: You notice when a problem keeps happening and want to prevent it

  • Reliable: You follow through and take ownership of keeping things running smoothly

  • Comfortable with ambiguity: You can operate in systems that are still evolving

  • Clear communicator: You can explain issues and solutions simply to both technical and non-technical teammates

Previous experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is not required.

Why Join Apricot

At Apricot, your work directly supports clinicians and patients by keeping critical systems running smoothly behind the scenes.

You’ll join a collaborative, fast-moving team where you’ll have real ownership, learn quickly, and help improve how we operate as we grow. If you enjoy solving problems, working with data, and making systems more reliable over time, you’ll do well here.
