About 16VC

16VC is an early-stage venture capital firm backing ambitious founders building the future with AI and technology. We also run the 16VC Founder Fellowship, a remote community of 100+ startup founders.

We're looking for a Video Editor to help turn founder interviews, startup stories, and educational content into engaging videos that build the 16VC brand.

What You'll Do

• Edit long-form founder interviews and podcasts.

• Create short-form videos for LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.

• Add captions, motion graphics, music, and branding.

• Repurpose one piece of content into multiple formats.

• Ensure videos are polished, engaging, and optimized for each platform.

• Organize and manage video assets.

• Work closely with the Content Creator to publish content consistently.

Who We're Looking For

• Strong video editing skills.

• Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.

• Good understanding of short-form content and social media trends.

• Creative eye for pacing, storytelling, and visual design.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

• Interest in startups, AI, and technology is a plus.

• Portfolio of edited videos is required.
